Can I donate goods instead of money?

Due to the international nature of our program, we can’t accept donations of goods (food, supplies, etc.). We have to fund food and resources on the ground where the animals are.

Do I get assigned a feeder with direct donations?

Yes. Through the StraWorldwide.com site donations get assigned feeders for direct donations.

Does every dog or cat get sent to a rescue or shelter that uses the feeder?

Rescues take in as many dogs and cats as they can making sure that severe medical cases are priority. Some street dogs and cats are very difficult to get into care due to their elusive, untrusting nature.

Does STRĀ collaborate with other organizations?

How are the funds used to feed street dogs?

Every purchased product has a clear and specific meal metric that is funded for a specific STRĀ street feeder. (10 meals, etc.). Once purchased, the funds are immediately deployed to provide food for the feeder.

How can I volunteer with STRĀ?

STRĀ programs are run through local shelters and rescues in the country in which the STRĀ feeders are located. Any volunteering would need to be done directly with a partner. Partner list:

How do I check the STRĀ feeder I funded?

After you make a purchase or donation, you will receive information via email on your assigned feeder. You will be able to see the geo-location of the feeder and will get updates (via email and SMS) of street animals fed and rescued due to your suppo

How many dogs does STRĀ feed per month?

Each STRĀ feeder provides 4,000 “meals” per month to street dogs. The meals are funded by STRĀ customers. Each STRĀ feeder has a geo code and mapped location so anyone can see where they are physically located. We are adding feeders globally monthly

How often are STRĀ feeder assignments changed?

We will “fill” a feeder until about 5,000 meals dedicated and then move to the next feeder. Because meals are always being used, we will at times move from one feeder and back to that feeder to make sure it stays full.

Is water provided at STRĀ feeders?

When do I know my funded meal has been served?

Because food needs are great and vary depending on the STRĀ feeder location, there isn’t an exact date and time a meal will be served BUT all funded meals are served in the feeder within 30 days. Even after a meal is served, the contribution helps us
